Students interested in obtaining RBI Fellowship funding:
- Must have been accepted into one of the four participating schools: School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering; School of Materials Science; School of Mechanical Engineering; School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
- Must enroll in the PSE minor program; the requirements and application process are described below)
- Must apply to a faculty member who has obtained Fellowship funding and engages the student to perform the research
Students apply for funding to professors who have secured fellowship funding for a research topic of interest. A list of all current fellowships is found at RBI Fellowships. Students must complete the RBI Fellowship Application form.
For academic year 2017-18, fellowship proposals are due from faculty on February 15, 2017, and awards to faculty will be announced March 15, 2017, and posted to this website.
It is expected that the faculty advisor, in consultation with the student’s academic committee, will ensure that the merit and quality of the project meet Georgia Tech’s standards and the student’s home school’s requirements. In addition, the student supported by an RBI fellowship must enroll in and complete all PSE course requirements.
